Pocket friendly natural hair products (3)

Hello beautiful people, I am still on the matter of keeping up with the economy. I have shared budget friendly finds here and here. Today’s product is the Queen Helene cholesterol hair conditioning cream. It claims to restore shine and manageability to dry and over processed hair. Let me just say, it fulfils this promise.

This conditioner is one of my carryover products from my transitioning days. I loved it so much that I continued using it after my big chop and it didn’t disappoint.

This conditioner packs a serious moisture punch!!!! Whenever I use it, it leaves my hair well moisturized and very soft.
This is one of the few hair products with a scent that I like, I absolutely love the smell. I also love the consistency, it’s a bit thick and not runny at all.

The first five ingredients are: Water, stearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, mineral oil, sodium lauryl sulfate.
The presence of mineral oil can be a problem for some people, but I keep using it because it is effective and the results are on point.
I don’t use it frequently though, to prevent product build up. If you are very particular about ingredients, you might not like this product.
I bought it for 800 naira at a random store in Lagos, 800 naira for 15 ounces is a good deal in my books.
So there you have it: an effective deep conditioner that is pocket friendly.
Till next time, enjoy your day.
