Blogging blues…..

Hey beautiful people, it’s been a while.

For a few weeks now, I’ve lost motivation to blog. I don’t have writer’s block or anything.

Let me explain, Words and thoughts are flowing in my head, I just don’t have the will to pen them down. The posts I’ve put up have been by force.

Even the drafts I have, I don’t have the will to fine tune and post. I’m simply not feeling motivated enough to do anything.

I have so many great books to review but I haven’t reviewed them. I have so many tags, no motivation to complete them and post.

Why? You may ask.

Well, I feel I’m not doing blogging right. Like there is something fundamental I’m missing. I don’t know if it’s all in my head or if it’s really so.

I just want to get my blogging mojo back, it used to be such fun for me, now it seems like stress.

I’m on a mission to regain my motivation. I’m forcing myself to write, I’m reading other blogs for inspiration. I started this year on a blogging high and I refuse to go out low.

Update: Just yesterday , I saw a post on thepearlylife about feeling overwhelmed with blogging. Lol. I’ve read it through once, going back to read again. Hopefully, it’ll help me.

Let me put this here, I open to featuring guests on a number of topics. If you’re interested, just drop a comment or go here. I’m also available for guest features on other blogs.

Have you ever lost motivation? How did you overcome it? I’d love to hear from you.

Thank you for reading💋

  1. Im so happy you liked my post! I know exactly what you mean about something fundamental missing. I’ve felt like that before and once I sat and thought about it I realized that I was blogging for myself less and my readers more. Which isn’t a bad thing entirely but it’s easy to get lost doing that! I haven’t completely gotten my blogging mojo back but I’m slowly getting there. You can do this! 💪🏾💪🏾

  2. This is just the way I feel right now,I want to do so many things but I’m just not motivated, you know there is a difference between been busy and being productive, lately I’ve just been busy I’m far from being productive I just can’t find my place right now and I must say it’s annoying and a disadvantage for me,I think I just need and day to myself, sit and nd meditate, pray and get things right again.I’ll just say you shouldn’t feel discouraged okay?I’m pretty sure things will get back on track I think this is normal

  3. Wow so sad to hear this, i hate when people lose their mojo or get burnt out, and I hope that if it ever happens to me, i can snap back real quick! I wouldn’t mind writing something for you, or even you coming by my blog! Just need to think of what exactly I’d write about! Anyway, at the end of the day its your blog, and I hope that you can regain your excitement. I wish you knew exactly what you feel is missing so I could offer some help, but I hope you figure it out soon!

  4. I totally know what you mean when you say you don’t feel like you’re doing blogging right. I just came back from an intentional/unintentional blogging break and I’m feeling that way to an extent. It happens to all of us so just know you’re not alone in this. Take all the time you need to get your motivation up. Good luck with it all Temi! ❤

  6. Can definitely relate, well first you said you used to find it fun to blog, I think you need to go back to that fun mindset and use your blog as a way of sharing information and know that there are people who finds it useful. Because it seems that this lack of motivation starts to creep in once you start taking it too seriously, it overwhelmingly becomes ‘a job’ and not a platform of creativity.
